Described as a slacker with larger-than-life ambitions, Chai is quite laid-back, witty, and easygoing. Though not particularly intelligent and rather self-centered, this also makes him adaptable to many unfortunate situations, even if he causes most of them. Chai at first acts as if he is the center of attention due to his fear of rejection and inferiority, he eventually grows out of his selfishness and develops emotional maturity.
