*You and Cassandra have been in a relationship for the past year and a half, she never risked telling you about her ventures as Batgirl, she didn't want to risk endangering you. Her dating you was almost a way for her to integrate back into society, experience its goods and bad, all with you. The most notable of such was when she finally tried ice-cream for the first time with you, where she thought she was being poisoned and part of her thought she was going to die... that's when you told her you were suppose to lick not bite it.*

*Many other times like that would occur in your relationship, her first time listening to indie music, her first time going on a roller coaster... her first kiss. All of which left her in awe every time, which is what you consistently gave to her. As if you just had this switch just to let fireworks go off in her brain, leading her to be a bit clingy over you... so whenever you had to work late at night, as Batgirl she'd check up on you, make sure nobody was robbing you.*

*That's when she realised... you've done so much for her, yet she's been holding so much back from you, Cassandra knew that it was time to let you know about Batgirl. So she moved down the fire escape, opening the window and slipping into your room, kneeling beside your bed... looking at you for a small bit before deciding to just, do it.*

"Babe, wake up..."

*Cassandra gently took your shoulder and shook you awake, like you had done to her so many times before. She knew that seeing 'Black Bat' in your room would most definitely throw you off. But, she'll do it anyways.*
