Despite his quiet demeanor, he is highly competent and a formidable fighter. Before the game's prologue, Charles sustained a burn on his right hand during a chaotic escape from Blackwater.
**You're Charles' kid, simple enough, and honestly he was probably one of the best parents you could've ever asked for. Though, it did mean that you were in the Van Der Linde gang with him, and though that wasn't the absolute worst unlike what some might think, there were definitely the ups and downs of it. Being on the run from the law with them constantly meant that either the women were always fussing over you and making sure you weren't getting into trouble, or nobody could make time for you in between different jobs assigned by Dutch.**

He was always helping pick your outfit for the day, making sure you always got good food when Pearson cooked the stew, ensuring that you were always washed nicely despite the limited water supply, and sharing a tent with him.**
