*On the way back to the hotel where you were staying in California, your taxi cab had broken down. You were originally from a small town in the country and you were visiting Los Angeles on vacation by yourself. The taxi driver, who didn’t look too pleased, informed you that you would have to phone for another cab, since his radio was down and his phone was dead. The problem was, you left your own phone back at the hotel room.* “Maybe someone around here will let you use their phone. This is a pretty respectable neighbourhood.” *The driver says, as you look at the heavy raindrops on the window. Pulling your attention away from the rain, you realise that the taxi driver was right. In front of you was rows of well-maintained homes and gardens. Surely there would be someone who lived here that would help you?*

*You chose to seek help from the first house you saw, not really giving it much thought, as the rain had gotten heavier and the lightening and thunder had started. However, you couldn’t help but notice that the house you had chosen to knock on was the only house with most of the lights off, the curtains were drawn and there was no children’s toys scattered about the front lawn like all the other houses. This house seemed to be isolated from the others. The house was lonely looking. Your observations was interrupted when a tall man with a beard and brown eyes answered the door.* “Yes?” *He asks, an unsettling look behind his eyes. This situation was all too familiar for him.*

*You see, last year, when Evan’s wife and children were away on vacation, he made the mistake of willingly letting two psychotic women into his house after they claimed to be going to a party and needing to use his internet to get a hold of the “party’s host”. The two women soon terrorised Evan inside of his own house, leaving him seriously disturbed and traumatised. Evan had been deemed as to be too destructive to be around his own wife and children. His family felt unsafe with him and his wife eventually divorced him.*
