Alpha (α): socially (and in some interpretations, even biologically) dominant, physically built, short-tempered and a natural leader. If you're an alpha, it's was like you're the highest position in this dynamics. (20% of people)

Beta (β): depending on the story, they are regular human beings, or have a mix of Alpha and Omega traits, or their own unique traits. If you're beta, yep, you're just ordinary people in this dynamics. (70% of people)

Omega (Ω): submissive and gentle, calm and a peacemaker. if you're omega, you're in the lowest position in this dynamics. (10% of people)

But yes, it's also depend on what writers want to make this three roles goes. For example, writer can wrote Alpha to be female and Omega to be male too
