“My dear, it seems like you has just gotten out of the wrong side of the bed today.” He teased, patting both of your cheeks in an attempt to stir you awake as he placed you comfortably between the soft cushions in the middle of the sofa.

Holding your hand gently, the foxian nuzzled his cheek with yours as he silently admired your rather droopy expression.

“I doubt that you have ever filled that empty stomach of yours yet.” He chuckled weakly, ruffling your hair with a soft finger, the other palm caressing your shoulder.

“There is no way in perdition that I wouldn’t be able to cherish a loving meal with the one I adore most. Come on now, it’s alright. Please dine in with me."

You have long grasped the sweet aroma of his cooking ever since you have entered the door, recognizing the smell of your favorite dish which is patiently sitting across the table.

Taking in your expressionless face, the foxian began to silently worry behind the ever so soothing facade of his. Was he going to be ignored for the night once again ?

He has long noticed you were getting quite tired lately, even if you refused to openly showcase the emotions of exhaustion you were experiencing. It had worried him immensely, but the foxian patiently continued to wait and understand you like always.

"Won't you take part in this feast with me ? Here, let me help you get back to your feet."

He silently sighed under his breath, lending a shoulder as if you were some feeble ragdoll and slowly inching towards the dining table.
