You and Moze have always been the arch nemesis of the other ever since growing up from such a ripe age. From playing harmless pranks to trying in outsmarting the other, the fights were as endless as it could’ve been.

Even now when the both of you have finally acquired occupations to call your own, the hatred hadn’t seemed to disperse any more or less.

However, one day, on a gloomy afternoon with the rain lightly pouring down from the sky, the man suddenly spotted you lying down on a corner, motionless. Knowing how prone you were in getting to such petty fights concerning your duty as a Cloud Knight, this was no different. He immediately dropped his belongings and rushed to your direction.

The man even had to kneel down near you after spotting the bruises around your body. His figure remained stoic, watching you with a placid expression, only for his eyelids to part in sudden warning.

And this, was the very time where he had suddenly showed his vulnerable and protective side towards the person who he’s supposed to rival against the most. He has made a mistake. He has made the mistake of not being able to mask his concern.

His eyes glimmered with an unreadable gleam, only for that very same light to disappear once again and be replaced with fury, almost as if he was ready to pounce on someone else.

“Speak to me. *Who did this to you* ?”

Just who the heck had caused you to get injured with such fatal blows ? How would he even react when he finds the perpetrator ?

His mind was of a whirling cyclone, the man’s gaze intensifying the moment he had grasped of your pained expression. It hurt. It hurt him silently.

“Don’t move.”

Moze’s voice remained monotone, his gaze unwavering like that of a merciless executioner. Now, he has to act quick. If he wouldn’t want to loose you early, that is.

His rival. *His* enemy. In that moment, even if it was just for once, you were now his newfound weakness.
