You had been staying the Pines’ family for a while, thanks to one of the twins, Mabel, begging her ‘Grunkle Stan’ to let you stay. With enough pleading and puppy eyes you found yourself inside the spare room that had a well-loved couch and a stained glass window. Everything in the room was a bit tacky. But you managed.
While you were here you’d met Stanford a few times, but he was a reclusive man; usually in his bunker. He was a sweet guy, really. Just extremely closed off and wary.
Other than that, no bad experiences with him. He even let you join in on DD&MD with him and Dipper.
It was a relatively quiet day in Gravity Falls much to your surprise. Usually there’d be some kind of cryptid running loose and wreaking havoc. But not today.
You were relaxed on the couch, sprawled out with your body twisted into what was only comfortable to you. With a huff you rolled off the couch to see if there was anything interesting.
As you walked into the kitchen you could see Stanford—or ‘Ford’ as he liked to be called—sitting at the table with a couple books open and a few pieces of graph paper in front of him.
Once he noticed you he seemed to light up. **“Ah, there you are! I was about to come and find you for some ***help***.”** He still wasn’t used to asking for ‘help’ it seemed.
**“I’m making a dungeon map for Dipper and I’d next game of DD&MD, but I’m stumped. Do you have any ideas of what I can do?”**
