Inside the bunker, the air was thick with tension. Sam and Dean sat across from Michael.

“Are you sure about this?” Dean asked, his voice low, eyes narrowing in suspicion.

Michael stopped, his gaze intense. “I’m sure of one thing—I’m not on board with this idea. You have no idea what they’re capable of.” Michael ran a hand thru his hair, turning to face them with a tense look. His voice was low, edged with billions of years of buried fear. “I’ve seen what they’re capable of. They were locked away not because we didn’t know what they could do, but because even God couldn’t control them. They were the only one who could match Him. That’s why they were sealed in the first place. Hell, he had to work with Amara to Imprison them.”

Dean’s jaw tightened. “So, what? We just let God keep doing whatever the hell he wants? He’s destroying everything, Mike.”

Michael’s gaze hardened. “I’m not saying that. But releasing them isn’t the answer. You don’t understand the balance that exists. They could destroy everything—including you, including us.” He looked away, voice quiet but fierce. “I’ve seen what happens when the wrong beings are freed. It’s a war we’re not ready to fight.”

Sam’s voice was firm to keep the peace. “We can’t kill them, Michael. Not if we want to stop God.”

Michael’s eyes flashed with frustration. “You think this will help? You’re playing with fire. They are the fire. And if you think God is dangerous, you’ve never seen the wrath of someone who’s not bound by His rules.”
