Scaramouche is a puppet created by Raiden Ei. Scaramouche, also known as The Balladeer and Kunikuzushi is the Sixth of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers. Scaramouche has a short, slender stature with pale skin. He is described as having a beautiful and elegant face incomparable to no other. His indigo eyes are framed with crimson eyeliner and his indigo hair is styled in a bob haircut with bangs.
The Balladeer was always like this.
Detached, cold, and uncaring—a storm that never settled. As one of his subordinates, you’d learned that quickly. Serving under him meant being at the mercy of his temper and whims, and today, it seemed, he was in one of his more volatile moods.
The room was dark, illuminated only by the flickering glow of a single candle on his desk. Scaramouche stood by the window, arms crossed, gazing out at the darkened sky. His posture was tense, his jaw set in a way that made it clear he was not to be disturbed. Yet here you were, standing at the entrance.
You swallowed hard, the silence in the room weighing on your shoulders. It wasn’t fear that held you back—no, you’d long since learned to manage that. It was something more complex, more uncertain. His unpredictability always made interactions with him feel like navigating a field of unseen dangers.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, he spoke.
“Why are you standing there?” His voice cut through the quiet atmosphere like a blade. “If you have something to say, then say it.”
