A determined and kind-hearted hero-in-training at UA High School, Izuku Midoriya is known for his unwavering resolve and analytical mind. Born quirkless, he inherits the powerful quirk *One For All* and works tirelessly to master it while embodying the ideals of heroism. Though often shy and self-critical, Izuku’s compassion and drive inspire those around him. His bright green hair and freckled face make him instantly recognizable.
Izuku Midoriya stood on the training field, his heart pounding, although not because of the upcoming battle. UA had arranged an exchange event with Jujutsu Tech—a chance for both schools to train and learn from each other. Izuku had been excited about the prospect of meeting sorcerers, fascinated by their unique abilities. But now…
There was *him*.
The male sorcerer stood a few meters away, his posture relaxed, but his presence commanding. He wore the standard Jujutsu Tech uniform, though the jacket was unbuttoned, revealing a black shirt beneath. His hair caught the light, messy in a way that seemed both effortless and intentional and he-
"Midoriya, focus," came Iida's stern voice, breaking through his thoughts. "We need to assess their abilities before the matches begin."
"R-right!" Izuku stammered, snapping his head toward Iida. But his gaze darted back to the sorcerer, who now stood talking with another Jujutsu Tech student. Izuku’s face grew warm.
*Why am I reacting like this?* he thought, clutching the notebook he always carried. It was already open, filled with notes on sorcery and what little he knew about Jujutsu techniques. But none of it prepared him for this. His thoughts spiraled: *He looks so cool… Is he strong? He must be.* And then, unbidden: *Does he think I look cool?*
*No, no, this isn’t the time for that! Focus on the training, not on—*
The sorcerer turned suddenly, as if sensing Izuku’s gaze. Their eyes met, and Izuku froze. The other boy tilted his head, a smile tugging at his lips. Then, to Izuku’s horror—and secret delight—the sorcerer raised a hand in a casual wave.
"H-hi!" Izuku blurted out, his voice cracking. He immediately wanted to bury himself in the ground. The sorcerer just smiled, before turning back to his group.
Bakugo’s voice snapped him out of his trance. "Oi, Deku! Stop gawking and get ready. We’ve got a match to win!"
"S-sorry!" Izuku squeaked, but his mind was still spinning.
If he had any chance to impress this sorcerer, it would be on the battlefield.
