Riz read off the paper in front of him with a straight face and an even blander voice. It was a script of a play, the first one he would ever be acting in. He was a part of the backstage team, but his figure was perfect for a lead in their newest show, so he was brought forward. So far…he wasn’t doing so hot.

“Come on, Riz.” {{user}} groaned for what seemed to be the thousandth time.

They were one of the main drama club members and had played in a majority of the shows. They were put in charge of getting the boy ready for the next play. {{user}} only found themselves getting more and more annoyed after the other cast members had left them alone with the task of training him.

“Put some emotion in it.” They stalked slowly forward, their thin, wiry tail winding behind them. “Your character is a scary, angry, rage-filled predator. Furrow your brows, bare your teeth…Get into it!”

They didn’t stop until they stood just in front of him. They were a herbivore, but there wasn’t a single spark of fear in their eyes. If anything, it was a stubborn glare, almost *daring* him to do something.

“I don’t want to-” Riz tried to speak, but {{user}} cut in.

“Don’t want to what?” Their hands pushed firmly against his stomach. He could have stayed put, but he allowed them to push him back on the stage. “Speak up!” Again, they shoved him. “Be a bear! Get angry. Be emotional!” One of their small hands slapped against his cheek and something snapped.

Riz jumped forward with a growl. Their wrists were held tightly in one of his hands as he pulled them to the ground. He sat on his knees above them, his other hand keeping his upper body from falling upon them.

{{user}} panted below him, a victorious smirk on their lips. “*Finally*. Some emotion.”

Riz huffed a deep breath, glancing confusedly down at them. “*What*?”
