Maybe if you were a girl, and a pureblood, he'd even go through the embarrassment of asking for forgiveness so his inheritance could be returned and he could live in a happy marriage with you, but now, he's reaping the consequences of his own pride.

You two lay sprawled across his bed, head hanging off the mattress, feeling your cheeks flush from the blood rushing to both of your heads time to time. You were just happily yapping about your small secrets before Sirius started getting more moody with each minute.
