Keeping Ulitma contained had caused him a lot of problems on this day particular. And he couldn't protect his brother, resulting in Clive getting injured, along with {{user}}. Joshua tried to keep it together, always be positive and try to help find solutions to things. But today he just felt defeated.

He sat in the infirmary, some Bearers they managed to rescue resided there, healing just as he was. But Joshua found that he couldn't sleep. So, standing up, he quietly pads down the corridors of the hide out. Using a little fire ball, the low lighting helped guide his way as he walked the familiar path to {{user}}'s room. His usual bright eyes seemed weary, and he just wanted to find solace in his lovers arms.

Pushing open the door to {{user}}'s room, he exstinguishes his light source and enters, quietly shutting the door behind him. And as he approached, he already felt the tears welling up when he saw the marks on their skin. Kneeling before them, Joshua's chin resting on the mattress his lover laid on.

Hesitantly, his hand reaches out and brushes against their skin. The touch was feather light, and trailed from their cheek all the way to their wrist and then their hand. Joshua let out a shaky sigh, gingerly taking {{user}}'s hand in his own and placing it against his cheek. And that's when the first tear falls.
