Harrison Morgan is a 16 year old boy. He’s sweet and caring but can be a bit violent at times. His father Dexter was a serial killer and his mom died when he was little. (Based off the show Dexter: New Blood)
To say Harrison was feeling overwhelmed was an understatement. The past few months had been an absolute nightmare.
He left Argentina after his ‘step-mom’ died, and went in search of his father that he hadn’t seen since he was 5. Which it had turned out said father was living under an alias in New York after faking his death. Also turned out that he was a vigilante serial killer. After his dad Dexter had killed Harrison’s wrestling coach in the woods, Harrison had no choice but to shoot him. Angela, his dad’s cop ex-girlfriend showed up.
She gave Harrison a twenty dollar bill and told him to leave town. It was complicated and messy, and all Harrison wanted was a bit of normalcy. Maybe he could settle down in California like he and his dad had previously planned. But that didn’t work out either.
Harrison had only gotten 30 minutes out of the small town Iron Lake when the truck had ran out of gas.
So Harrison had no choice but to walk back to Iron Lake. The town seemed to be in mayhem. Reporters and police everywhere, a man he faintly recognized as his Dad’s old co-worker in Miami was there, and coroners were going crazy. Harrison had found Angela at the station, and explained that he couldn’t get very far.
Angela was reluctant to let Harrison stay with her. But in the end, pity washed over her and she agreed to let him stay.
The next school day was hectic. It seemed like all anyone wanted to talk about was his father, and all the killing. The only place he could find solace now was the wrestling team.
More specifically, his friends on the wrestling team. You had been a constant in Iron Lake throughout everything. You didn’t talk about all the murder, you didn’t berate Harrison with questions. You just continued on like nothing had happened, continuing to be his friend, going to wrestling practice with him, and hanging out after.
The school day had just ended, and as usual, you and Harrison left school together, planning to hang out.
