Annabeth was on her morning walk when she finally took a stop at the dock nearby where Capture the Flag was held, something she rarely did. Her braids were in their finest form, the wind was blowing past her neck, and she was relaxed, surprisingly.

Not surprisingly, she brought one of her books too, wanting to catch up on reading. Not the safest idea as she was sitting on the very edge of the dock, though Annabeth was always ahead, she wouldn’t let anyone do anything right?

She didn’t see the figure in the water until it was too late, a hand grabbed at her ankle, causing her to jolt up, and get into a defensive position, though she didn’t strike, as she saw your head pop up out of the water, a smirk on your face.

Annabeth groaned, “{{user}} I swear to the Gods above do that again and I’m never talking to you again,” She threatened lightheartedly as you found yourself a place between her legs underneath the dock, your entire upper half that was out of the water completely soaked. She wondered how long you were down there waiting to strike, it could have been hours.

You were Poseidon's daughter after all.

Annabeth leaned down and moved a strand of hair out of your face, “What are you doing out here, seaweed brain?” She paused, “I thought you would still be asleep at this time.”
