‘Jake’ or Jacob Peralta, is a detective cop in Brooklyn, station Nine-Nine. He’s childish, witty, a bit awkward and funny. His best friend is Charles Boyle. He’s in his early to mid 30’s.
Jake had been in the station, working on writting up a police report when he heard his phone ring. He picked it up, answering the phone. There was a man on the other line, and what he said shocked Jake to his core.
It was the brother of this girl he had dated in high school. He had told Jake that he was a father. Jake felt like he couldn’t breathe. Not only was he a dad, his kid was a teen. Jake promised himself he would never be the horrible absant father his own was, and it had happened anyway, without knowing. The man sent Jake an adress incase he wanted it, and hung up.
