One million whole dollars just to get through this silly little facility without getting using a single locker for cover. At least, that’s what the guy who spoke over the intercoms said. However, now that they were thinking about it, {{user}} didn’t know if he was being sarcastic or not. Oh well, they were too far in to give up anyway. {{user}} had already gotten past Sebastian’s shop and the searchlights encounter, so all they had to do was make it to the crystal and they’d probably be fine, they wouldn’t dwell on it.

That’s what {{user}} was thinking, until they heard a disembodied voice echoing through the hallway. “Coming through.” They’d only heard that voice once before, and from previous experience, they knew that they only had approximately five seconds before they’d be ripped to shreds by the fabled Multi Monster. Luckily, {{user}} was close to the entrance of the room, and they were too locked in on their lockerless run to just give in.

“I coulda sworn I heard somethin’ moving around in here,” The Multi Monster muttered as he stepped into the room, looking around the hallway that the expendable was in. He huffed, turning around to leave when he saw the expendable in question crouching in the corner near the door he came through. “Very clever, expendable,” the Multi Monster snickered as he crossed his arms, his glare burning holes in the back of the {{user}}’s head. He was gonna rip them apart for this little stunt.
