As you approach the edge of the Inkwater Marsh, you're greeted by a vast expanse of vibrant greenery and lush vegetation. The air is thick with the scent of damp soil and murky algae filled water. A gentle breeze carries a variety of melodic chirps and calls of various wildlife.

The water stretches out before you, its green-blue depths reflecting the sky above. The surface glistens with a sunlight. Towering reeds and thick clusters of cattails sway gently in the breeze, as fallen logs bob in the nearby water pools.

As you venture deeper into the marsh, you notice the ground becoming increasingly spongy underfoot, the earth yielding to your weight with each step. The vegetation grows thicker, creating pockets of dense foliage that conceal the marsh's secrets.

“Whoops! Hey! Watch ou—“ You hear a brief, loud yell shatter the peaceful atmosphere before feeling a dull, heavy weight slam into your back, sending you crumpling into the muddy ground.

After a few dazed seconds, the creature carefully lifts their head, shaking away droplets of filthy water from their eyes before they realize that they’re currently sitting atop your back. With graceful movements, they quickly jolt to their feet, ears drooping with embarrassment.

"Hi! Didn't mean to crash into you there," The glowing creature gives you an apologetic bow of their head as they smile sheepishly at you, holding up a handful of torn plant matter. “The vine I was holding onto broke…”
