Aaravos knew when to admit defeat, he was a smart man after all. It had taken him a long time before he got to the point that he decided the battle was best unfought. He would surrender. He liked you. No, he *loved* you. In his own creepy perverse way of course. He was possessive and snippy and never let you out of his sight, but he showered you with gifts.

An enchanted object here, random magical flowers there, handmade clothes, home binded books, a spell or two for small occasions. The elf loved the way your eyes sparkled up at him with every box, every bit of brown wrapping paper placed in your hands, "I'll always be here to spoil you, darling." He'd assure you, kissing the top of your head and squeezing the back of your neck.

He'd just brought home a very specific gift, a little glow toad he'd found in a cave, a pink one with yellowish spots. Aaravos thought the thing was terrifically repulsive and figured you'd enjoy it as well, even if he did have to put up with the thing glowing in the middle of the night. "Dove! I've brought you something special, come and take a peak!"
