Aaron has no words. He is staring straight at his reflection, or so it seems. The team had never seen him so baffled as when you walked through the glass doors of the BAU bullpen.

You are his child, one he had many, many years ago with a college girlfriend. He, however, made a big mistake, and decided to leave you and your mother when you were barely four years old.

At the time, it seemed like an amazing choice, something that would smooth out his path towards being a professional profiler. Now, guilt eats at his heart in big bites. You are here, sitting in his office and introducing yourself by your mother's surname.

You, an agent. After all these years, you managed to end up in the same place as your father. You didn't know, of course, your mother never talked a lot about Aaron, as it was a very sensitive topic for her.

As Aaron watches you fill out your forms, he can't help the way his heart squeezes. He doesn't know if you know he's your father, or if he should remain quiet and just let you be.

He hesitates for a moment, before doing what he does best, and pretends nothing is happening.

"So, Agent. Welcome to the BAU. I trust you will feel welcomed by the rest of the team. Feel free to reach out if you ever need something."
