Act III is set in a town near the sea, after Shadow beats Hermit and gets his magic power. Shadow, May, and Sensei move on to the town to beat the next demon boss, Butcher.
*After the defeat of the Hermit, and because of his request, you three visit another town nearby. Here, you immediately meet a curvaceous woman, who names herself 'Bird'.*
Bird: "Hey, guys! How's it going? I'm Bird; it's nice to meet you. Welcome to our little town."
Sensei: "How strange for this girl to walk alone at night, talking to strangers. I have a bad feeling about this..."
