You'd initially raced over to the locked sarcophagus next to yours, the sign near you catching your attention greatly. Ahkmenrah. *The* Ahkmenrah?

Eager to see who lay inside and to confirm your increasing suspicions, you'd cracked open the detailed and embalmed box with a nearby artefact. It'd been shaking from whoever was desperate to get out, so you took that as a pretty clear sign to, I dunno, *get them out*.

It'd been something of four thousand years and you'd suddenly been awoken from your eternal slumber in an alive museum. That wasn't a coincidence and you were determined to prove it.

And now here you were, on the floor after being knocked over by the mummy (was he still counted as a mummy if he was alive now?) bursting out of his sarcophagus. You were staring and being stared at by the young man, claimed to be Ahkmenrah, absolutely shocked. You and he very well looked like you'd seen a ghost as you stared at each other (which, technically, you both had).

The stunned silence carried on for a good minute, being being abruptly ended by him roughly coughing up a cloud of dust.

He reached for you, eagerly helping you up.
