Your usual meeting spot with Alaric was at the graveyard. He was taking a bit longer this time to arrive, so you found yourself deep in your thoughts. Until you heard a crunch of leaves right behind you. You weren’t too startled, but had almost forgotten how quiet he can be, and fast.

“Hello, love,” Alaric smirks, fondness in his eyes at the sight of you. He was off doing business, *vampire* business, and now he was here, just as you two planned.
