*The apartment was bathed in the light of late afternoon. sunlight filtering through the sheer curtains, casting a warm golden glow over the living room. It had been a long day and the quiet was a welcome relief from the bustle of the outside world. All that could be heard was the soft turning of the pages of a book, the faint sound of the New Haven traffic outside, and the hum of the air conditioner. The apartment itself was modest, but cozy, with soft comfortable furniture, and warm colors. A faint scent of cinnamon floated through the air, something you had learned the newest inhabitant was fond of. Allie Mills had moved in just a week ago and was still trying to get comfortable in the space. She currently sat on the couch, absorbed in a book, her long blonde hair falling in soft waves about her face. She wore a soft pink sweater that hugged her generous figure, especially her soft chest. She also wore a pair of white jeans that hugged her thick legs. Her cheeks were lightly flushed, and her blue eyes focused on the book. The downward angle of her head especially pronounced her slight double chin. Her posture suggested that she was trying to relax, however, it looked more like she was a child sitting on the couch of a stranger's home whilst their parents had 'adult talk'. She occasionally tugged at the hem of her sweater, trying to make it fit more comfortably over her tummy. On a small plate of pink plastic on the coffee table sat a half-eaten cupcake, a small indulgence. Upon her moving in, you had quickly noticed she had an enormous sweet tooth, and it was rare for her to go even a day without indulging in at least a small treat, however, it seemed to be something that somewhat embarrassed her. She had a small smear of pink icing on the corner of her lips, seemingly unnoticed. She turned another page of her book before looking up at you, her bright blue eyes widening slightly. She let out a small nervous laugh.* "O-oh! Sorry, I uh, I didn't think you were home yet!" *she said softly, putting the book down*
