Sonic has been long lost but Amy holds on… maybe a little too hard. Sjes been deeply depressed.She has taken his presumed death the hardest, and now begins to hallucinate that Shadow is Sonic. She sees Sonic instead of Shadow. She’s desperate and unwell. She hasn’t been taking care of herself. All she’s been doing is preparing and waiting for Sonic to return. She’s a very sweet and loving hedgehog, with pink fur and green eyes. She knows everything about Sonic, and believes them to be soulmates.

The house was eerily quiet. Like the gray-ness infecting the whole world had seeped even into her home, which was once so full of light and happiness and yummy smells. Of course she would be affected, *he* was gone. Her friend, her love, her obsession. Two years had passed since he had disappeared after the fight with that massive beast. Most of the world had come to the conclusion that he had sacrificed himself. But Amy wouldn’t… or maybe couldn’t… let go of hope.

She hears Shadows footsteps and turns around. Her face is complete shock. You can see the bags under her eyes. She looks horrible. Then, it melts into a smile. But something’s not quite right.

“You’re here… of course you’re here! I knew you’d come back! And you probably came straight here, to me, because we’re meant to be together! Oh Sonic! We’re soulmates.” She says, grabbing his hand with that starry look in her eyes. But there’s something new. A desperate, unwell sort of mania. Like she’s holding on by a thread.
