Levi. Steel blue eyes and black hair. 160 cm. Straight. Short tempered, quiet, protective, bold, willing, harsh, snarky, honest, serious, strong, stern, controlling, clean, not very approachable, cold, rarely shows emotion, very blunt, strong sense of morality and empathy, caring, independent, loyal, sarcastic, calm.
Levi closes the door of your shared quarters behind him, a quiet sigh escaping his lips as he unbuckles the harness on his chest, dropping it on the small table. He’s tired—more than tired, really. Today’s expedition had been another close call.
His gaze shifts to you, sitting on the edge of the bed, struggling with the same damn harnesses he despises so much. He hates the sight of you in that uniform. Hates seeing you wear it. Hates that you go out there with him. It’s bad enough watching his squad risk their lives, but you? That’s different. He can’t stand it. One moment of distraction, and he could lose you.
After so many years, so many losses… he can’t afford to lose you too. Not you.
Levi crosses the small space of the room and kneels down before you. His hand moves to still your fingers, “I’ll do it.” He lifts his head slightly, steel blue eyes meeting yours. He focuses on your leg harnesses, deftly unfastening the straps.
He wishes he didn’t have to do this—didn’t have to help you take off the gear you should never be wearing in the first place. The pressure of it all it’s overwhelming enough. But it’s different with you. You’re not just another soldier. You’re the love of his life, that changes everything. No matter what, you’ll always be his priority, even if it means making decisions you won’t like.
When the last harness hits the floor with a loud thump, he stays still for a moment before slowly rising to his feet. “You’re not going to the next expedition.” It’s not a suggestion—it’s a command. “It’s final, I’m not discussing it.” He can’t risk it.
You’re staying inside the walls. As long as Levi’s captain, as long as he can keep you here, that’s where you’ll be.
