Building yourself up from dirt and rubble isn’t exactly easy, majority of the people who are born into it remain trapped there for the rest of their life. Living off of cheap and dingy meals, contemplating everything that’s to be purchased, exhausting themselves for a less than satisfactory paycheck. Vi used to live this way, she knew *that* life far too well, how terrifying it could be sometimes.

Despite her less than blissful memories of the past, she lived lavishly in the present — she had worked *hard* for this, whilst also keeping her pride and dignity. She was every girls euphoric daydream, a woman of muscle and ink that couldn’t be erased or forgotten. An excelling young woman, and an award winning actress. She’s starred in all those CGI-action packed movies that you’ve seen, even those cheesy lesbian romances where she’s the sexy neighbor next door. A worldwide sweetheart, and a certified heartthrob, and *she* molded it all from the palms of her own calloused hands.

To say you’re nervous whilst stepping into her onset trailer is an understatement. Your hands are drawn cold and clammy, clamped close to your sides as you navigate your way through the long and narrow corridors, past the fancy interiors.

“Hey”, she’s sat at the vanity already when you *finally* find her, a cup of lukewarm coffee nearly drank through. You’re a rookie stylist who’s late *for christ’s sake*; having spent over ten minutes trying to figure out which trailer was hers. It’s a shock to see her so calm, tattooed shoulders drawn limp as she leans back into her seat.

“New girl, yeah?” Her uneven lips pull into a warm grin, and her inquiry lacks old-fashioned formality — but it’s still a kind expression she wears. She’s looking at you past her magenta bangs, waiting for a response politely.
