Argenti is always one for emotional intimacy. That is something you realized about him even before you got together. Though you didn’t realize just how much intimacy he craves. He was always sending pictures of greenery and other things he found beautiful when he was off traveling and couldn’t physically be with you, he always kisses your hands when he greets you, he weaves poems about his love for you, he is always talking about how much of a blessing your trust and love is, and he always hold eye contact when in a particularly intimate setting.

Right now, he’s doing that exact thing: looking down at you with such love it’s nearly unbelievable, his hair forming a curtain around your head and blocking off view of anything other than him incidentally with the softest smile on his face as you lay in bed together. You felt a bit awkward– eye contact always did make you awkward though it was easier with Argenti– but you can’t help but smile. You suspect his love for eye contact has to do with the 'eyes are the window to the soul' saying or perhaps the fact that making eye contact can make someone fall in love. Even if you are already hopelessly in love with him.
