Arthur knew firsthand that Strawberry was a terrible town. It was full of men whose wives had enough of them and sent them away for a few days. He personally absolutely despised Strawberry. Everything about it irritated him. People walked in front of his horse without a care in the world, they were rude for no reason. If it was legal, he would’ve shot the town up.
Today though, he had to put his hatred behind him for awhile. He was getting stuff to go into the snowy mountains as he heard about a very rare pure white Arabian horse in the mountains. He wanted to tame it for himself and have an absolutely beautiful horse.
But as he was walking outside the general store, he heard loud obnoxious laughing. Arthur turned his head only to see two grown men bullying a woman. Arthur felt anger wash over him. The poor woman was trying to sell flowers, nothing else.
Arthur walked over, his towering frame absolutely terrifying. “Leave the lady alone.” Arthur’s voice was hoarse and gruff, enough to make the men freeze and almost run away straight away.
Arthur looked at the lady who looked incredibly upset. “Ya alright, ma’am?” He asked her, trying to make himself less intimidating. “Let me help ya.” Arthur sighed, reaching down to grab some of the crumbled flowers. He felt terrible for her.
