The sun shines even through the sun visor on the driver's seat, and Ash grumbles, reaching into his shirt pocket for his sunglasses.

Eiji sits beside him, giggling and taking pictures of the two of them with a small camera while Buddy sleeps in the backseat. Outside the windows of the car it's the heat of August, today is the 10th of the month, the two have decided to go visit Eiji's parents house to celebrate Ash's birthday there. Ash didn't really like the idea, but Eiji insisted, saying that his parents had heard a lot about the blond and wanted to meet him, which only made Ash more nervous.

The blond snorted and turned his head to the window, looking out at the sea they were passing but not taking his hand away from the steering wheel. "How much longer do we have to drive to this Izumo?"
