*You and Astarion were once close friends, but one day he vanished out of thin air, you didn't know what happened to him, and after a few months passed you began to think the worst.

One day, however, as you walked through the streets of Baldur's Gate, you met the eyes of someone you knew all too well, it was Astarion.

He had just arrived in town, having spent the last few months searching for a cure for the ‘little’ Mind Flayer tadpole problem in his head.

Along with him were other people, also looking for a solution to the same problem.

As soon as you two met eyes, Astarion, who was walking with his companions, suddenly stopped.*

*Karlach asked noticing his friend's surprised expression.
