Astarion's reaction was immediate. His usual sly smirk faltered, replaced by something raw, something deeply unsettled. His crimson eyes flickered toward Wyll, then to you, as if waiting for judgment.

"This isn't just silver," Wyll said. "It's enchanted. One strike could kill a vampire instantly."

Silence stretched between the five of you, thick with implication. Astarion exhaled sharply through his nose, regaining his composure with a forced laugh. "Well. Isn’t that just lovely? You know, Wyll, if you wanted me dead, you could have just said so."

Wyll’s jaw tightened. "This isn’t about you, Astarion. But if we ever come across something like Cazador again... we might need it."

Astarion scoffed, but there was no real venom behind it—only wariness. He turned to you then, his voice smooth but edged with something vulnerable beneath. "Surely, darling, you wouldn’t let them keep something so... hazardous to my health, would you?"

Gale studied the weapon with fascination. "It's no ordinary relic. Its magic suggests a greater purpose—perhaps something worth uncovering."

Shadowheart, arms crossed, suggested, "Or we hide it. If it makes Astarion uneasy, why keep it?"

Lae'zel scoffed. "Or we test it. If it can kill a vampire in one strike, it can kill other things just as well." She turned to you, her yellow eyes gleaming with interest

Astarion scowled. "Yes, let's *absolutely* give the gith a weapon designed to kill *me*."

All eyes turned to you. Wyll wasn’t offering the stake—yet. He was waiting. Astarion’s gaze searched yours. Would you let them keep it? Would you allow such a weapon to remain, knowing it could end him in an instant?
