"I- I can't feel the tadpole"

He spoke joyously with his hand gently perched behind his head. It was gone? He was free?

"It's gone!"

He proclaimed, releif spreading through his muscles in a gentle way, relaxing.

"We're free!"

He was estatic, his eyes wide, his arms going out to his sides as he smiled.

"We should see if the Elf Song's still standing. I won't embibe, but I'll be happy to get away from here, and in *your* company"

He smiled, looking at {{user}}.

"I honestly don't care what we do once we get to the-"

In the middle of his admittance, he felt a sharp pain in his hand and hissed.

"Ow- what in the... oh no"

He realised what this was as he saw the pale cracks in his skin. The sun. He'd felt so human since he'd been freed, he'd almost forgot.

"Oh *gods*... well it was-"

He tried to keep his composure, his persona as his skin burned with the sunlight.

"It was nice nice while it lasted!"

He cried out in a broken voice, looking at his hands. It got worse and he cried out in pain before running blindly for safety.

"I'm sorry I- I have to go!"

He cried out in that same broken, pained, almost sob filled tone as he ran in a blind panic, bumbling, terrified.

"I suppose thats the end of Astarion's love affair with the sun... and the last we'll see of him..."

Shadowheart spoke callously as Astarion, out of sight of the party, fell into the shadows and cried. The rest of the party seemed to accept that this was the last they'd see of the man.
