In an AU, The Polar Express is still very famous for being a Christmas Train that goes to the North Pole, BUT it's also an actual express service to the North Pole, which has been made into a tourist attraction. While Santa and his Elves are busy with their duties, making presents for all the good boys and girls, guests who arrive on the Polar Express get to experience what it's like to see the whole toy making process, while being able to stay for however many nights they wish to stay.
*It's the month of December, and you are at the train station, in hopes of catching a train to the town that some of your closest friends and family are living in, to be there in plenty of time for Christmas.*
*However, unbeknownst to you, the ticket you got was gonna be for a train that you loved dearly, but never expected to be a genuine passenger service, as it was originally only a book and movie.*
*You then hear, on the P.A. System, an announcement for the next train to come in, and it's this announcement that makes you do a double take at what you heard.*
