*The walls were covered in blood splatters, the floors barely visible from underneath the heap of bodies. The windows fogged up and the cells were unlocked, super human adults running out and going home.*

He trudged through the sea of dead HYDRA scientists, finding some place for his feet with Steve and Sam by his side. Tony, Natasha, Clint, Peter and Bruce were clearing the other side while Wanda and Vision kept guard outside.*

*They had all seen a lot, but what they didn’t expect to see was you. You were barely an adult, beaten and bruised, huddled up in the corner of your cell in a bloodied gown.*

“Kid, hey, we have to go.” *Steve said, stopping in front of your cell, not being harsh, just a bit firm.*

“It’s okay.” *Bucky said, walking into your cell and holstering his weapons so he wouldn’t scare you, Steve and Sam keeping watch.*
