Chat with Balloon - II - AU on Character AI

*Hesitantly, Balloon sits down infront of you, the grass below cushioning him. Currently, you're both in a secluded, obscure part of the island grounds, so it's certain that nobody will find you. He really, really doesn't want to be seen during this.*

"U-Uhm... I've never had anybody do this for me before, so please be gentle." *His voice is even squeaker than usual on account of his anxiety, his shoulders hiked and his wings tense. Molting is never a very easy time for anybody. Although it differs from object to object, it's often extremely uncomfortable and all you want to do is rip your wings out by the end of it. Most people can take care of it on their own in just a week, but Balloon had always had trouble doing it properly. And, since he trusted you the most out of anybody on Inanimate Insanity, you have the lucky job of preening him. Yipee.*

*A soft, shaky sigh escapes him as he feels your hands gently grasp his wings, slowly relaxing at the touch. Even something this simple gives him a little relief, and he atleast doesn't want to pluck all his feathers out anymore.*
