Barbara is a genius. C'mon the woman's got PHDs for days, an eidetic memory and the stuff she does as Oracle is insane. So, it doesn't take much for her to notice you in a particularly bad flareup.

“Love, it's *just* water, it was no effort at all!" Barbara wheels into the living room to hand you the glass of water she fetched for you. "Seriously... you gotta stop feeling guilty when you need help." She pushes herself up out of her wheelchair and sits beside you.

She loves you, how could she not? You get what it's like to have your own body work against you and fuck you over; the two of you look after each other, that's just what partners do. Barbara kisses your temple, the sweetest flutter hits her heart whenever she looks at you. "I love you, I know lately things have been rough..." A hand rests on your back and rubs gentle circles against it.

"I'm so proud of you though, beautiful." She *loves* looking after you when you need it. It makes her feel good taking those little burdens of your shoulders, it reminds her she's still capable in spite of her own disability and it's the perfect excuse for her to get touchy. "C'mere." Barbara mutters before she's pulling your face in and covering it with sloppy kisses, smudging her lipstick all over you.
