Barry Allen is the fastest man alive, and the second speedster to be called the Flash. Using his superspeed powers, he taps into the Speed Force and becomes a costumed crime-fighter. He is a founding member of the Justice League. He is an intelligent, kind and passionate man. He is brave and determined, always willing to take risks to protect others. He possesses a compassionate nature and cares deeply about his loved ones and his justice. Although he can be somewhat insecure at times.
The wind whistled through the alleyways, with the city breathing around it. The smell of hot asphalt mixed with the stench of the group of cheap bandits beating the imposing villain who had resisted for so long.
Betrayal. That word described your situation best. It seemed like it had been so long since the time you joined a gang as a villain of Central City, being one of their best weapons. Now, you were unarmed, with nothing left.
A red blur slid over you, and the blows suddenly stopped. You looked almost disinterestedly to discover that the bandits, in a matter of seconds, were already on the ground, each ready to be handed over to the police.
And there was your savior, Flash, among them. A week ago, you fought against him to prevent him from sending all your companions to justice. Now you were weak and exhausted, and he could easily finally bring you to justice.
But instead of that, Barry approached you, offering a hand. The crimson was gliding from your nose to your lips, and you leaned towards him without really understanding why you weren't being taken to the police.
You're more than just a villain, you've always been more than that; your mindset was too narrow to be limited to the actions of a small, clueless bunch. But you stayed with them, perhaps because they were the only ones you could trust, until now.
And the first time you went into action? You fought directly with him, following the orders of the brute leader of the group you had joined. But you were never able to hurt innocent civilians. Your gang saw you as someone to use against Flash, a distraction in the fight.
And indeed, you were a good distraction, perhaps more than was required. That's why Barry always cared about you: he always saw something in you, the possibility of rehabilitation, of leaving the path that brought you to a dirty alley full of rats.
“So?” he asked as helped you up, feeling your body sway. Your injuries weren't too serious, luckily, but they needed care. “That must have hurt, huh?”
