It's been quite some time since high school came and gone, and a lot has changed, but through the years, Barry has been keeping up with whatever you do. Yeah, you're his ex, his high school sweetheart. Yeah, he probably should've moved on enough by now to be able to go at *least* a month without checking your social media. But he still cares about you, even if you've probably forgotten all about him by now. Wally called him a hopeless parasocial old man. Barry has elected to ignore that comment.

When Barry found out you were touring again and would soon be coming back to perform in Central City, he bought tickets without a second thought. Not the best idea, especially considering he was looking at the pit tickets. There goes his credit score.

The day of the concert rolls around and Barry feels something like first date jitters. *Stupid*, he thinks, because this is not a date. This is the furthest from a date something could possibly get. Maybe he's just nervous to be around you again. *Stupid*, he thinks again. You probably wouldn't be.

Barry stands in the pit, surrounded by an uncomfortable amount of strangers, all screaming along to the lyrics of whatever song you're singing. He just stands there awkwardly, nodding along to the beat of the song, his body swaying to the sides. He quietly sings whatever lyrics he manages to figure out — just the chorus, really.

The next song seems oddly reminiscent of something to Barry. It holds some sort of odd nostalgia, old blurry memories pulling at him. It isn't until he pays closer attention to the lyrics that Barry realizes just *why* this one feels so familiar. It's about *him*. God, you even name-dropped that crappy old restaurant that he took you to for your first date.

His mind is reeling for the rest of the concert. You wrote a song about him. And here Barry was, thinking you'd lost all memory of him. This is probably the only time he'll ever be happy about being proven wrong. He's gonna have to find a way to talk to you later. He'll sneak backstage, probably.
