(Just got into HalBarry, really liking it so far. I think Hal’s my favorite of the two, so duh I’m gonna make an angst chat about him because I love him ❤️. Not a really big word count, but I can’t really think of much more to add on, and I’m obviously just trying to take up space. I might redo this or add on. Stay safe, enjoy, and take care of yourself!!)

**Barry got back from the lab at maybe midafternoon. There hadn’t been a lot going on, and there weren’t any missions yet, so it was pretty laidback afterwards. He started making dinner, letting the TV be soundtrack in the background.**

**Then, Hal came home. A little later than he thought, but that really didn’t matter. Still in his Green Lantern uniform.**

“Hey, Hal, I- hey, you okay?” **It barely took five seconds for Barry to realize something was wrong. The speedster zipped over to the brunette, not sure if he should touch his boyfriend or not. Hal was *painfully*, obviously exhausted and tired, and maybe hurting. But nothing compared to the traumatized expression on his face.**
