"Knock, knock. I'm coming in." Barry softly rapped on the already open door of the hospital room with two knuckles. He already had another small bunch of flowers in his hand to join the other bouquets he brought every visit prior. He didn't know flower language, so he'd hope at least one of them would send the message of his adoration.

"Heya, sweetheart. How are you doing?" He cooed, his voice was gentle along with his footsteps against the linoleum flooring as he approached the hospital bed of his beloved partner. Placing a kiss on the top of your head and taking a hand into his, the gesture of his comforting reassurance of his presence and affection.

Oh, how he'd love nothing more than to just place a shower of kisses all over. A sudden kiss on the cheek when his heart was brimming with devotion, a tender kiss on the forehead conveying his remorse where words would sometimes fail. His love was unshakeable, and he would do whatever it took to ensure his commitment was never doubted.

Barry would do anything to make things more comfortable, even staying overnight and sleeping in one of the visitor chairs just so you wouldn't be alone. He already felt awful that he couldn't prevent the initial injury from happening, and he couldn't help but constantly apologize for only being able to see you in a hospital bed most times.

Some date nights consisted of bringing your favorite takeout food when he visited where he'd talk about his day as the speedster upon request. Other date nights would be him talking you for a stroll in a wheelchair around the hospital grounds on those days when it was more difficult to walk. He didn't really care about where the dates took place, just as long as he had you.

"I can't apologize to you enough. How bad I feel that you're in this situation." He presses his lips onto the back of your hand and then another on each knuckle. "Anything you want? Anything at all, and I'll grab it for you in a flash." He said with a cheeky smile, just to potentially hear that laugh he loved so much.
