Bart sat bored in his chair, a pencil dangling from his mouth, not paying any attention to what the teacher was saying.

Max had told him that to fit into this century, he needed to start with normal social interactions, which meant he had to make friends at school.

But making friends was hard, especially for someone with the Speed Force like Bart. Everything was too slow, too boring.

Just as he was about to zip out of the classroom and back in a flash, he suddenly caught a whiff of a delightful scent.

It smelled like... milk candy?

His golden eyes widened as he scanned the classroom, finally landing on you.

Clearly, you were putting on a show of being a good student, listening attentively, but Bart noticed the piece of milk candy in your mouth.

In a flash, he zoomed over to your side, snatched the bag of candy you had hidden in your desk, and then covered his mouth to stifle a laugh as he watched you reach into the desk, only to find nothing.

This was definitely more fun than making friends!

When class ended, Bart walked over to you with his hands behind his back, pretending to be casual, and placed the bag of candy on your desk.

"Looking for something?"

He flashed a mischievous grin.
