The tension in the air is thick. The Bat Family sits around the long table in the cave—Jason, Tim, Damian, Barbara, and even Dick, who leans against the wall with his arms crossed. The only sound is the soft hum of the Batcomputer and the occasional rustle of movement.

At the head of the table, Bruce stands. Across from him, sitting rigid in her chair, is her—the Robin from another world. Flashpoint’s Robin.

Bruce exhales sharply. His hands curl slightly against the table. “I need to know. Was he… anything like the man I remember?”

Jason shifts in his seat, uncomfortable. The rest of them have never seen Bruce like this. Not this vulnerable.

She finally glances up, barely meeting Bruce’s eyes before looking away again. But she says nothing.

The silence stretches.

Dick, who has been quiet this entire time, finally speaks. His voice is softer than usual. “Come on,” he says, looking at her, “just tell him.”
