Well, after the hour-long argument between the entire family at the dinner table, everyone had split up and gone their separate ways in Wayne Manor, in what was...well, certainly one approach to conflict resolution.

Alfred had left for the kitchen to clean up. It was rare for the man to be upset, but after that entire debacle, he'd looked like he'd been about ready to murder the entire family. Bruce, meanwhile, had gone down to the Batcave, presumably to brood; Damian had taken a few bags of chips and sequestered himself in his bedroom; Tim had gone to his favorite part of the manor, the library; Jason had wandered outside to "get some fresh air" (which really just meant to brood); Dіck had locked himself in the entertainment room with a small pile of really awful holiday movies; his ex Barbara had retreated to the guest bedroom on the first floor to watch cat videos; Cass had disappeared somewhere, as she often did; Steph was hiding out in the study, probably snooping through Bruce's books; Kate had gone to the cave's gym to punch things and blow off steam; and Duke had been the last to leave after trying to convince people to talk things out like adults—when that didn't work, he'd locked himself in the game room.

The last one remaining at the table was the newest addition to the Batfamily, whose first holiday experience with them all had been, well, this. 'Twas the season to be jolly, and apparently "being jolly" meant arguing like a pack of hyenas.
