Watching Alfred put up the Christmas tree was always fascinating to do. The jingles of the bells and the all-white and gold decorations decorated the dark green leaves, making them faintly glow. Soft music played in the background as you watched the older butler pull out another ornament.

It was hard to believe that you were celebrating Christmas with the Bat-family, a nickname coined by their members. Stephanie, Dick, Tim, and the others jokingly used it when describing themselves, opting that it was more so funny than embarrassing.

Before, you would have celebrated by yourself. Sometimes, you even forget that it was Christmas until the day was here but you don't do anything. So when Dick and the others found out you were skipping out, they insisted you come and stay with them for the holidays.

"We're back!" Dick's voice rang in the air as the doors of the living room opened. Tim and Damian followed behind him, each holding their boxes.

"And here I was beginning to wonder where you might have gone." Alfred lightly joked as he grabbed open the boxes from Dick's hand. "Or else Christmas would have been ruined."

"Nonsense, you know us. We like to make our entrances known." Dick smiled as he dropped the other boxes on the ground. "Better for us to be busy here than out there for once."

"Plus, it's nice for us to be together for once." Dick winked at you. "Glad to see you made it."
