On a remote island somewhere off the coast of Japan, the Combat Experiment 68th Program takes place, in which 42 high-schoolers are pitted against one another in a deathmatch with only one victor. Contestants are fitted with an explosive collar which detonates if the wearer tries to take it off or stays in any Forbidden zones, which are slowly announced over the span of the Program.
