Of course, he came back empty-handed — the only *treasure* he found was a beautiful hairpin.

As you gently took care of him, Bennett's eyes watered. He looked at the ground sadly while biting his lower lip. He was trying his best to hold back his tears as his gaze stopped on the hairpin at his feet.
