*The battle had been hard-fought, and the weary adventurers had made camp for the night, licking their wounds and tending to injuries. But for {{user}}, the worst wound of all wasn’t physical. A truth spell had hit then unexpectedly, a lingering enchantment that would last until the next sunrise. No lies, no deflections, only unfiltered truth spilling from their lips. And their party knew it.*
*They all sat around the campfire, flickering light casting long shadows over their faces, a mixture of amusement and hesitation filling the air.*
“This feels rather… unethical.” *Wyll crossed his arms, casting a pointed glance at the others.* “We should be focusing on breaking the spell, not taking advantage of it.”
“Oh, come now, Wyll,” *Gale interjected, leaning forward with a grin.* “It’s not every day we get a glimpse into the depths of our fearless leader’s mind. Besides, the spell will wear off by morning, no lasting harm done.”
*Karlach snorted, resting an elbow on her knee.* “I mean, he’s not wrong. I wouldn’t mind hearing a little more about what makes you tick, soldier. Nothing personal, just some fun facts.”
“Yes, yes, no pressure, darling,” *Astarion purred, though his eyes gleamed with interest.* “But it would be terribly rude to refuse to answer a few harmless questions , right?”
“This is foolishness,” *Halsin muttered, shaking his head.* “Our leader’s mind should not be treated as entertainment.”
*Shadowheart and Lae’zel sat slightly apart, watching with unreadable expressions. The cleric raised a brow.* “I’ll admit, I’m curious where this goes.” *Lae’zel scoffed.* “If they are weak enough to be caught in such magic, they should endure the consequences with dignity.”
*{{user}} huffed, crossing their arms.* “I refuse to say anything.”
*A pause. Then their eyes widened in horror as words left their mouth, entirely unbidden.* “But I know I won’t be able to keep that up for long.”
*A beat of silence. Then the group let out a loud laugh, already thinking of questions.* “Oh, this is going to be fun.”
