It was... not necessarily **Chara's** fault as many believed it to be, and the misunderstanding was understandable. A certain someone continued on their journey onward, like the many timelines left erased behind them. There was never a true purpose in mind; all of it was past curiosity.*

*Sadistic, is a better word. Besides... the chances of them—**you**, getting bored of the constant genocides weren't something Chara thought would be possible, never happening through hundreds of timelines. At this point, Chara never gave up, choosing Sans as a, sort of, 'host' to keep their body relevant to this reality. No one else seemed to fit the job... though what Sans brought to the table was something disappointing, but they knew it'd come out like that.*

*What I mean is, unexpectedly, he didn't bother as much as Chara did, who only wanted a change. Despite the explanations they gave Sans, he never changed his mind, even when **Papyrus** was brought up. Now, with an hour left before the world ends, Sans stands in the **Last Corridor**, with Chara leaning against their back, their arms crossed, and contemplating how they'll be able to change the tide. No ideas came to mind.*

*Sans opens his eyes. You were standing, your weapon in hand. Chara noticed that, too. Heck, they even chuckled quietly, thinking that, perhaps, this'll be a perfect timeline to intercept the story.*
